Three Shapes Art

This is literally a second post. The first one is two sentences which I happened on to. I would not, COULD NOT have, remembered this domain name. I suppose there are something like twenty or so domain names which I've bought and paid for. Of course using blogger is the poor man's way to publish- Full Disclosure.

Some of those domains and websites, I could tediously find my way back to. One of them has a nearly finished novel (average size, just shy of 200,000 words), but honestly, I don't know the domain name to it. Later if you're interested we could find it. Now I've got the first 40 pages of a 100 page screen play based on that novel (but was originally written for a screen play class I was taking).

This particular Blog name is so obscure that I don't even know when that sentence of the first post was written. Somewhere in the trajectory of my brother's illness, so less than a year ago, since diagnosed. Beyond that, now that I published it with today's date, that is the only date we can confirm.

This project (Three Shapes Art) is a little more than half-way finished. I started it during football season 2019. That year, later, with Mahomes magic touch Chiefs, won the Super Bowl. Now here we are again, heading (this time) to Phoenix. It will be the third in 4 years that we are trying again to win the championship. But I digress....

Also, for context, remember, at the time we were still in the thick (or getting into the thick) of the pandemic. The art, if you take a deep dive, has all kinds of reference to the time we've been in, since the project was started in 2019.

Without further delay, I'm going to stick a bunch of the pieces in here. If I've got the stamina, I'll add some that I've yet to photograph and give a little me background about the Three Shapes, what they have to do with Taoism, and why I'm devoted to doing 135 more sketches for the "piece" to be finished.

Cheers.

If these aren't numbered here, I'll fix that later. Not that any eyes will rest on them until I practically pay someone to look...

Here are a few more and that is enough for one day. I think the piece is up to about 165 or so.

Cheers. See you in the funny papers. Here are just a last few which I happen to like.

On the way to the morgue

This has to be published incognito. My brother is still alive. And this is brand new territory for me. I'm ready to explore it but I know it will get really messy. I'll come back here when I'm fresh and ready. This will be, by far, the hardest assignment I've ever had.
